**Grayson is currently 40 months old.**
We are finally coming out of the holiday fog and getting back to our Tot school (among other) routines! I've still got to get back organized with crafts for Grayson (and taking pictures of everything we're doing), but we still spent a lot of quiet time together this week playing with some learning toys.
His tot trays the first half of the week--I say the first half because very soon they were somewhat disheveled. :)
We have to incorporate some physical activity for him while we're cooped up inside. I threw out my no running inside policy and we set up some cones for racing. He LOVED this!
My sweet friend gave Grayson and I a KinderMusic set from a church children's music program here in town. You sing along with the music and there are coordinating books. We loved doing this together. Of course, his favorite part was banging the "clappers" as he called them.
We've got a great Bible Activity book that we pull out a lot....I wish I could remember where we got it to share with all of you.
He pulled the Melissa & Doug See & Spell
from his trays--I love this toy, but he only loves it about 10 minutes and that's it for the week--oh well, we'll pull it out again in a few weeks.
He still loves his Latches Board
from Melissa and Doug. He likes to say that he's a "tinker like tinker bell" when he plays with this board. This, of course, makes his daddy really proud. :)
We learned "F is for Fire" this week--and then for got to take a picture of his final project. You can see him glueing his flames on top of the F....
He loves this Infantino Matching Colors and Textures Puzzles
. It's easy to find puzzles that match colors or shapes, but this is great because he has to match textures as well.....like "bumpy" to "alligator." He does the whole thing by himself, and in true Grayson fashion, lines up them up in a very long line....
A simple number puzzle he got for Christmas this year
Some painting fun....I talked Grayson into helping me with one of my projects...you can check that out here.
We had a great week together, and I'm looking forward to getting some great crafts to try this week from the other creative moms on Tot School.

Good activities! My son got a very similar number puzzle for Christmas. I immediately thought "tot school!!"
