We're finally getting somewhat back to normal around here. Christmas is officially over and it's time for me to get in gear with Tot school and everything else, for that matter! This week was still much more loosely run--lots of fun learning with wonderful Christmas gifts and again, it surprised me how much Grayson can keep himself entertained with quiet toys. Love them!!
Our daddy was out of town the whole week after Christmas, so Grayson pounced on him to do his Melissa & Doug Pirate's Bounty 100 pc Floor
puzzle. I'm sure after driving 24 hours straight this was just what Matt wanted to do! He was more than gracious and gave his little boy some joy by helping him--and then finishing the puzzle when Gray lost interest. :)
Grayson still loves his sensory tub--I really try to keep it hidden so that when we pull it out, it's always a hit. Unfortunately the day he found it this week was the day after I had spent hours mopping the hardwood floors. Oh well, tidiness sacrificed! He played for a couple of hours with his funnel and scoop-and you see in this picture below he's filling a treasure chest with new tweasure!
He spent some time lacing with his Melissa & Doug Lace and Trace Farm
; he loves these, and although I'd love to teach him to lace each hole, I'm glad he spends some time with them and gets enjoyment out of his creations--that's the important part!
Grayson loves his Do-A-Dot Rainbow Art Set (Set of 6)
paint he got for Christmas. After filling up his art cups on his easel and few times (and cleaning the floor after he was done), I broke these out and life is much simpler! His daddy helped him paint.....
After being inside for several weeks, Grayson was going crazy being cooped up, so we headed outside for some plain, old running in the sun (and freezing wind).
They don't get much camera time, but Briggs and Bella joined us for our outside playtime.
My favorite:
Hopefully, this week will hold a little more organization, but you know what? Something tells me we'll be just fine if it doesn't. :) Have a blessed week.

great week!!!! it looks like he had a lot of fun :)
What a cutie!
What a fun week! I wish we had gotten outside this week! Hopefully we can this week!
We busted out with the dot to dot markers this week as well. It was alot less messier!
Grayson looks so cute bundled up, and what a good picture of Bella and Briggs. I loved watching Ava eat bananas the other night.
We just got the dot to dot markers and plan to use them today. I've never let my kids paint before so you are braver then I am :) The 100 piece puzzle looks fun, what a sweet daddy to help after driving so long.
