Ava is 12 Weeks Old!!!

I truly can't believe that our baby girl is already 12 weeks old, and coming up on 3 months!! It has been such a whirlwind; I know I will look up and she'll be blowing out her birthday candles next July!

I know I've said it before, but Ava has really been such a great baby! I've realized even more how great she's been since she has been sick for the last week and a half. She caught a little cold from her brother, but has really had a hard time. I can tell (finally!) today we are on the way up. She is finally napping again, and has slept from 7pm-530 am the last two nights...so yes, on our way back to sleep!!

An update on what she's up to: She is a joy, constantly grinning and cooing. Even when she's been sick, she'll stop crying and look up at you and just smile...so sweet! She still loves her swing, and usually I give in and let her nap in it once or twice a day....I mean, at least she's napping, right? Still not as much of a fan of tummy time, although she can almost roll over from her tummy to her back. She can roll up onto her side pretty easily now when she's on her back, and I keep telling her she's going to love being able to squirm around if she'll just do it. She likes her play mat, but HATES it if I put her near the TV if Grayson's watching it. I guess it's just a little too stimulating for the more laid back of my two. She laughed out loud for the first time on Monday, and of course, hasn't done it since. I somehow tickled her when I was pulling off her sleeper, and she just giggled!

That's pretty much it, she's still eating great and sleeps through the night (except for our sick week), although now I don't even feed her late at night...she's been sleeping from about 7-8pm until 5 or later every night. Incredible! I didn't do this with Grayson for such a long time!
