We are finally (fully) potty trained!!!!! Not to say there will never be another accident, because we had a slight one this morning, but I cannot tell you the joy coming from my fingers as I type these words! :) It's been quite a road; we really began in February. The pee peeing came pretty easily and for months we've been great with that...he would even go to school last year and have no accidents all day. But the pooping has been a different story! Accident after accident and uncontrollable fear of putting poop in the potty have stressed me just a little. I knew it would come when Grayson was ready, but it was not so much fun waiting. He never had #1 accidents so we didn't want to revert back to diapers, so you get the idea with the #2 accidents!! About six or eight weeks ago, he became interested in his potty books again and one night asked if he could sit on the potty. Wanting to encourage this, we gave him one treat for sitting on the potty and trying and two treats if we actually had lift off...and within the last 10 days or so, he goes almost every day!! I know this is a little much for some of you, but you probably haven't potty trained yet! If you have, you're almost as excited as I am because you remember the days of this "out of parent control" process! So, it's official...we are potty trained! New babysitter volunteers? Anyone?

YAY!!! This is victory to my ears. Maybe T will be right behind Grayson! He has done so well with the "tee tee in the potty"..but the poop is a whole nother story. Luckily, he is like Gray in that he doesn't have accidents when we are out (knock on wood)..but at home..it's a different battle. Hopefully he'll get it in the next few months :). Thanks for the encouragement..I'm glad you posted this!!!
