In honor of Grayson's new favorite show, Dinosaur Train, we decided to do a ton of dino fun! I got major help (and basically copied everything) from Carissa at 1+1+1=1. I couldn't wait to get it all together for him and see his face when I pulled it out! Matt loaned me the laminator from the office, and I cut and laminated away to get it all together.
We didn't start the dino fun until Tuesday, so I sat out his options for "school" on his table. Just stuck with some favorites and added a new one.
He loves using this paint I got at Hobby Lobby!
We were on "D", so here is his "D is for Dots."
And what better week to have a Dinosaur theme??? I actually created him his first tot pack...again, see Carissa's blog to see all of her tot packs...a great way to keep all this together. I love that this is something I created for him without spending a lot of money...something he can keep for a very long time...it's filled with Ziploc bags to hold all the games I made for him. These are all printed on card stock and laminated so they'll last and he can use them over and over again.
All of his dino games in a tray for him to choose from:
He picked Dino Eggs first...he had to match the correct colored egg to the mommy dinosaur.
Daddy even joined in the fun this week...some number sequencing at the table before supper...Grayson did well with this. He must take after his dad!
A little size sequencing with the dinosaurs....he loved this and kept picking it up all week.
This next one I printed off three sets...one of each dino, a sheet to match to, and the alphabet set for matching to as well. We never made it to the alphabet cards, but he loved picking up the dinosaurs and naming them....thanks, Dinosaur Train.
He LOVES the stegosaurus and its plates "that cool him off, Mommy."
We read a lot of dinosaur books this week:
I also downloaded an app for him on my iphone, and he loves it...he played it for 45 minutes this morning in our bedroom while I cleaned and Matt napped. Bring on the apps!!

What a great week!! RockerTot has the red dinosaur book (comes with stickers) that is shown in the photo as well as a few others. Dinosaurs are a big hit here, as well. Thanks for sharing!!
That tot pack does look pretty neat.
